Recently, Feichi Technology's 49-ton Fuel cell Tractor has officially arrived in South America after crossing the seas. This export of hydrogen fFuel cell Tractor to the South American market marks a solid step forward for Feichi Technology in its overseas business layout and represents another milestone in expanding the diversified application scenarios of hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks.
Witnessed by Chilean Energy Minister Diego Pardo and Executive Vice President of Chile's Production Development Corporation (CORFO) Jose Miguel Benavente, Chile officially launched its first hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck, which is soon to be put into commercial operation. This is an important measure at the national level to address the challenge of using clean energy for cargo delivery, supported by the Technology Program (PTEC) of CORFO.
"The arrival of the first hydrogen Fuel cell Tractor in Chile marks a new milestone for the logistics and transportation industry in the country," said Chilean Energy Minister Diego Pardo. "In Chile, a series of innovative activities centered around green hydrogen have begun to develop. The most representative example is this hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck made in China, which will be officially integrated into Chile's logistics operations and join the technical transformation project for clean energy forklifts implemented in 2023, jointly strengthening the promotion of Chile's green hydrogen strategy."
Chile's introduction of Feichi Fuel cell Tractor is an important measure by the local government to improve the local public transportation environment and optimize logistics transportation methods. The 49-ton Fuel cell Tractor delivered for operation are equipped with high-performance fuel cell systems. The vehicles feature ultra-long endurance, ultra-low hydrogen consumption, ultra-low operating costs, safety, zero carbon emissions, and environmental protection. For Chile's complex mountainous terrain, known as the "End of the World," these trucks combine advanced driving technology and robust structural design, adopting a large-speed-ratio four-speed gearbox to easily handle steep slopes, providing a high-quality solution for green deliveries for end customers.
In recent years, the Chinese government has rolled out a series of supportive policies to promote the research and development (R&D) and commercial application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, providing broader market prospects for hydrogen vehicle manufacturers. Meanwhile, Feichi Technology has been closely monitoring the development initiatives of countries worldwide in the field of hydrogen vehicles. Such initiatives will not only accelerate the rapid development of hydrogen energy technologies but also bring more development opportunities to hydrogen vehicle manufacturers.
In the future, Feichi Technology will seize the development opportunities of the times, continue to deepen its presence in the international hydrogen vehicle sector, enhance multilateral exchanges and cooperation, and promote the practical application and promotion of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in more commercial scenarios and regions. The company will bring China's advanced technologies and practical experiences in the hydrogen energy industry to the world, contributing to global green transportation and carbon reduction and emission reduction targets.
