From June 10th to 12th, the inaugural Asia Pacific Green Hydrogen Conference & Exhibition 2024 (hereinafter referred to as "APGH") was held grandly at the Sarawak Borneo Convention Centre in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. As one of the leading enterprises in China's hydrogen energy vehicle sector, Foshan Feichi Motor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Feichi Technology") was invited to participate in the exhibition, showcasing the outstanding charm of China's hydrogen energy vehicles to the world with its strength, and gaining recognition from numerous overseas professionals and potential customers.
APGH is one of the largest and highest-profile hydrogen energy exhibitions in Southeast Asia and the first of its kind in Malaysia, attracting researchers, government agencies, investors, automakers, and representatives from the industrial chain from over 20 countries and regions worldwide. At the exhibition site, Feichi Technology's booth was bustling with visitors. Sarawak Chief Minister Abang Johari Tun Openg, Sarawak Minister of Transport Lee Kim Shin, and Chairman of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Husain, among other guests, visited the Feichi booth, where Jiang Yong, General Manager of Feichi Technology, received them and introduced in detail the practical achievements made by Feichi Technology in vehicle technology research and demonstration application promotion.
During the exchange at the conference, both sides reviewed the long and fruitful cooperation between Feichi and Malaysia since 2017. The most recent collaboration was the Sarawak Hydrogen Bus Technology Training Course, jointly hosted by Feichi Technology and Foshan Polytechnic in May this year, which cultivated a group of professionals in the field of hydrogen buses for Malaysia, earning high praise and recognition from Chief Minister Abang Johari. Finally, the guests left their signatures on the photo album carefully prepared by Feichi Technology, serving as a testament to their fond memories.
Since the cooperation began in 2017, Feichi Technology has successfully exported three hydrogen-powered buses to Malaysia, achieving a "zero breakthrough" in China's hydrogen energy vehicle exports and marking the first time Chinese hydrogen buses have gone international. To date, these three hydrogen buses have safely operated for over 400,000 kilometers, during which the Feichi team has provided professional technical support and after-sales services. At this exhibition, these hydrogen buses served as designated vehicles for transporting important guests between the exhibition hall and major transportation hubs, becoming a beautiful scenery at the conference and showcasing the strength and charm of Feichi Technology's Chinese hydrogen vehicles to guests from various countries through their superior performance and comfortable driving experience.
Since the "Belt and Road" cooperation initiative was proposed in 2013, a large number of Chinese brands have gone abroad, and the automotive industry has achieved leapfrog development from "Made in China" to "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" by leveraging advantages in electrification and intelligence. As one of the earliest automakers to venture into hydrogen energy vehicles in China, Feichi Technology has actively responded to the country's "Belt and Road" call, continuously accelerating its pace of "going global." Starting from 2015, Feichi Technology has developed and manufactured hydrogen buses, with over 800 hydrogen buses now in operation, leading the industry. This has laid a solid foundation for the nearly seven-year cooperation between Feichi Technology and Malaysia. Feichi Technology's splendid presence at this exhibition not only demonstrates the rapid development momentum and strength of China's hydrogen energy industry but also showcases the cutting-edge technological innovation and high-level equipment manufacturing capabilities of China's hydrogen energy enterprises to the world, fully proving that the Feichi hydrogen vehicle brand possesses comprehensive competitiveness in the international market and reflecting Feichi Technology's determination and momentum to continuously explore the Southeast Asian and even global markets.
Relying on this international exhibition in Malaysia, Feichi Technology has established close ties with more global partners and opened up broader market spaces. In the future, Feichi Technology will actively respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative, continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with various countries, and accelerate overseas expansion by leveraging the leading advantages of its parent company Meijin Energy and its own development in the hydrogen energy field. We look forward to working with global partners to jointly promote the prosperity and development of the hydrogen energy industry, contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions to global energy transformation and green transportation, and jointly contribute to a global zero-carbon future.
