The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held from November 5 to 10, 2023, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), where Foshan Feichi Motor Technology Co.,Ltd 's FCV truck made its new debut at the booth of its partner, Toyota Motor Corporation.
The exhibited hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck represents another significant achievement of Feichi Technology's collaboration with Toyota. Equipped with Toyota's newly developed replaceable hydrogen cylinder integrated storage module, the truck is designed with comprehensive consideration for port transportation characteristics, fulfilling customers' needs for high efficiency, low hydrogen consumption, strong power, long range, and zero emissions in port operations.
As early as 2022, Feichi Technology, along with its parent company Meijin Energy, leveraged their respective strengths to collaborate with Toyota China across the entire hydrogen energy industry chain, engaging in profound exchanges and explorations on hydrogen energy technology applications. In November of the same year, a hydrogen fuel cell light truck jointly developed with Toyota, featuring Toyota's latest commercial TL Power 80 hydrogen fuel cell system, debuted at the 5th CIIE. This truck boasts not only high performance but also reliability and stability, with a system lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, far exceeding industry standards at that time. It stood out in terms of safety, comfort, and compatibility among similar products. In February 2023, 50 refrigerated trucks equipped with Huafeng systems were launched in Beijing, receiving favorable reviews from users based on their excellent operational data. In November 2023, Feichi's hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck, featuring Toyota's replaceable hydrogen cylinder storage module, reappeared at the 6th CIIE.
This year marks Feichi Technology's eighth year in the hydrogen energy arena, deeply engaged in the research, development, and manufacturing of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Fueled by favorable policies, exploration of application scenarios, strong support from shareholders, energy management technologies, and friendly collaborations with strategic partners, Feichi's flagship hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks have been commercially operational in various locations, including Hegang Tanggang New Area, Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical, Luanzhou City, Inner Mongolia Yijinhuoluo Banner, Budweiser InBev, Guangdong Shaogang, Jiaxing Port, Tianjin Rongcheng Steel, Jinnan Steel, Lingniu Hydrogen Energy, and more. These trucks have accumulated rich experience and operational data in diverse scenarios such as short-distance transportation in mining areas and factories, port traction, dreg transportation, coal mine and power plant transportation, and express logistics, demonstrating Feichi's hardcore competence in the fuel cell vehicle industry and reaffirming its capability and determination to enter international markets.
The theme of this year's CIIE, "Sharing a Future in the New Era," resonates with Feichi Technology's belief that open cooperation leads to mutual success and win-win outcomes. Looking ahead, Feichi Technology will continue to uphold the principles of openness, cooperation, innovation, and sharing, collaborating with outstanding domestic and international peers to drive hydrogen technology innovation and embark on a promising future for the hydrogen energy industry.
