At 11:00 am on July 19th, a fully loaded 49-ton Feichi-brand heavy-duty truck carrying BMW automotive parts departed from Shenggang Comprehensive Energy Station in Dalian Jinpu New Area and arrived at ZF Lunford Automotive Systems (Shenyang) Co., Ltd. at 5:00 pm, successfully completing a 402-kilometer expressway direct journey from Dalian Jinpu New Area to Shenyang Dadong District, effectively connecting the Shenyang-Dalian Hydrogen Corridor.
The 49-ton Fuel Cell trailer tractor traversing the Shenyang-Dalian hydrogen highway was manufactured by Feichi Technology and equipped with a 153kW hydrogen fuel cell system independently developed and produced by Xinyan Hydrogen Energy. Combining the operational characteristics of hydrogen-powered vehicles with the unique road conditions of the Shenyang-Dalian highway, this truck fully demonstrated its long driving range and high load-bearing capacity, successfully completing the transportation task.
This achievement follows Feichi Technology's successful operation of its hydrogen-powered heavy-duty truck on the 700-kilometer Chengdu-Chongqing Hydrogen Corridor in March, marking another successful attempt at high-speed direct transportation. With the support of various favorable policies this year, Feichi Technology has actively explored innovative business models for hydrogen transportation. Leveraging its rapid refueling speed, superior carrying capacity, and low energy consumption, the company has showcased the robust capability of its hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks to expand from fixed operational scenarios to cross-regional and inter-provincial long-distance transportation, setting new milestones.
Feichi Technology remains committed to facilitating green and efficient cross-provincial and cross-regional long-distance transportation of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks in China. It also aims to provide valuable operational data support for the nationwide construction of hydrogen highway networks, contributing to the coordinated development of hydrogen energy industries across regions. Looking ahead, equipped with the maturity conditions for regular large-scale transportation, Feichi Technology will continue to uphold the principles of innovation leadership and green development, increase R&D investment in the field of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, drive product iteration and upgrading, and continuously expand the hydrogen application chain and deepen the diversified application scenarios of hydrogen energy, setting examples for "hydrogen highways" in more regions.
